Beautiful bulb but doesn't work with our dimmer. The bulb is stunning both on and off. When left on for a while, it flickers with our dimmer when below 1/2 way, makes noise when higherv then 1/2 way. We love these light bulbs for our exposed bulb fixture where we wanted something oversized but also frosted. These dim really well with our Lutron Diva dimmer switch. We ordered multiple sets with different lumen ratings for different counts of bulbs for different room fixtures. The lowest lumen count is nicely soft with 2 in a bathroom, but when we had 3 we preferred to add a dimmer switch to soften it further. We have 6 in the primary bathroom and they dim quite well.. Clear Globe G40 LED Replacement Light Bulbs for Indoor Outdoor String Lights

These lights hang swagged along the ceiling edge my 40’ front porch. This is the second year (2026) they have been put up. I have them plugged into a timer so every night they go on at dusk and off at midnight. I have never had to replace the any of the bulbs yet. The bulbs are plastic, but do not look like glass. I bought them specifically for that reason because the previous string came down in a windy storm leaving glass shattered everywhere.
