So, don’t get me wrong I LOVE this recliner. Its fabric is nice, thick and looks to be durable. Its color is true to the online pictures. It’s super comfortable and has plenty of cushion with adjustable lumbar support and head rest. It rocks, swivels and reclines making it the perfect comfy chair. And YES! You can rock with a slight recline. Also, the recliner feels solid which I expected with flexsteel. However, theres a couple things to note, which is why the 4 star rating. First, was that we actually ordered the hand lever version and was sent the electric version. I’m not really complaining honestly,but it’s worth noting the wrong item was technically sent. And in receiving the electric version came some of the features we loved (adjustable lumbar and head rest), but also where some of the issues come in. The buttons are not labeled and take some getting use to. They can also be a little finicky.For example. I pressed the recline button then the foot button to adjust the feet and went to adjust the back again, but it wouldn’t recline. I had to set the recliner back to default and restart the chair adjustment. Another is that the recliner does not lay flat. For me this isn’t a big issue, it’s good enough. But others may want the feature. Lastly, the slots that fit the back of the chair to the base can be difficult to get together on assembly and leave a gap at the seat back if not settled. I like this recliner a lot. It looks beautiful and expensive. It’s comfortable to sit in as well. The chairs appearance is exactly like the photos. It’s beautiful and elegant. Keep in mind - The only purpose for this chair would be for a massage. You can’t really use it as a chair to sit in and watch TV because it’s very firm and pretty uncomfortable if you’re not using it for a massage. The heat function isn’t that great. As far as the massage goes, it’s very nice. If you like a deep massage be prepared to be sore the next day because the intensity is pretty high. As a medium build woman this is a perfect massage chair, but I can’t imagine a muscular man being comfortable because my shoulder blades touch the side wings of the chair, which is where design doesn’t meet comfort. I haven’t used the speaker system so I can’t comment on that. If I was going to review the shipping on this chair, it would be zero stars because when I ordered it, it took over a month and a half to ship when on the website I was told id get it that weekend!.
