I know the website says polyester blend but I thought all items likes this are supposed to have tags identifying such items. Just seems odd. This is the best I've found to protect from my hounds. Is it really "non-slip"? Not really, but it holds on better than most under a dog that likes to roll around on my couch. We liked the mattress protector overall. I ordered them two one for my master queen bed and the other for my guest room bed. Overall the protector is really good and looks the same as it was shown in the image page. I tried pouring water and it got removed off easily without getting absorbed down the layer, which is what we would want for a waterproof for any accidental leakage!! We are using it now for since a week and were hoping we should have bought them earlier. It’s good in texture and I layer them with my fitted sheet and extra sheet on top of it!!
