Fashion-forward and textural, the genuine hide carpets in this collection are stunning examples of fine craft art. Designs in this collection range from classic square patchwork rugs to innovative compositions featuring appliquéing geometric cutouts. These leather rugs are impeccably hand-stitched, creating contemporary works of art in marvelous natural cowhide tones and vivid primary colors. The eye-catching centerpiece for modern, or rustic-chic decor.

Love this rug! I debated getting it for quite a while, wasn’t sure what it would look like. Semi-final verdict texture in the pattern and hide material really work. The color is ivory, with some variations as to be expected. Works well with browns. My decor is eclectic, a combination of antiques and modern and this really works. It did arrive with a stain and was wet from the inside (the cardboard tube was wet, not the outer wrapping), so it’s not lying fully flat and had a stain. Wayfair customer service rocks, they as sending a replacement, I will post pictures with the final verdict once that arrives. I anticipate it will be even better than it is now!. Rower Girl. The Oleada is a striking yet free flowing, soft geometric pattern, creating a laid back elegance. Our new lab dipped muted colours for this style inspired by desert succulents and shimmering pools. We have created the Oleada in a stunning oval shape, but ofcourse it can be made in classic rectangles or circles. The Oleada would also work well in many of Art Hide’s other proprietary shades, such as midnight blue or Forrest green.

Authentic hairless cowhide brings warmth to any space. A wide variance in color and shape demonstrates the nature of these beautifully exotic area rugs. Reflective of ranchers' unique brandings, markings are to be expected and speak to the Argentinian origin of each hide. Chromium-free processing ensures eco-friendly tanning without the use of dyes.

Cowhide rug made with varying sizes of parallel strips

I gave this a 4-star rating because it’s a beautiful rug and so far (had it one week) the quality appears to be impressive. The problem is that I ordered a gray rug and after a near six-week wait, I received a beige rug. That was very disappointing since I wanted a color that best coordinated with my existing decor. I decided to make it work but at this price point, that type of mistake should not happen. I plan to reach out to Wayfair’s. customer service team and make them aware.. Marcia. El Paso, TX.
