The outside doesn’t get hot at all while you’re running the heat, which is a nice safety feature.. Alyson. Madison, AL. Wed Oct 21 2026

Sooo beautiful! I love how realistic the logs look! I love the amber effect when they're lit. The temp blows out hot, but my one star removal is because there's not a way to easily go up and down in temp on the remote or on the unit, when you push the button it just goes up in degrees to eventually reset back down. You can go down one if you went too high in temp. The entire base of unit gets super hot. But it is self-contained heat, meaning it doesn't make the surround or the thing it's sitting on hot. Only any areas right in front of the heating element get hot, so can't have wood or other combustibles in that area. But if you have wood or other combustible material underneath or to the sides or to the back, it will not get hot. So that's nice. It's compact in width but deep. The feet extend further than the unit itself, so note that if building your fireplace yourself like I'm working on. Otherwise, still love it! (Ps, after you turn it off, it takes a minute or so for the blower to stop. Then it takes a little while got the metal frame to stop being hot. But, love the ambiance!. Megan. US. Fri Oct 16 2026

This electric fireplace creates a warm, cozy atmosphere in your main bedroom or living room without the need for a chimney. Built with a powder-coated metal frame and plastic accents, it features an infrared heater that provides supplemental warmth for spaces up to 1,000 square feet. This unit includes artificial logs and a flickering flame effect with adjustable sizes and lighting levels for a customized look. Because the flames function with or without heat, you can enjoy the ambiance in any season. It also features an automatic safety shutoff and thermal overload protection for added peace of mind.

Absolutely adorable fireplace! I wanted an electric fireplace but the mantel box styles are too big and clunky. This is much more charming! I did not to permanently affix the stack plate to the wall so that I have the freedom to move it and store in another room it during summer months or add decoration on top. Puts out a great amount of heat too which was my primary reason for purchase as we needed some form of auxiliary heat. As far as faux flames go this truly is beautiful and doesnt give off "faux" or "cheap" whatsoever! BUY IT!. Ryanne. Yorktown, VA. Thu Oct 22 2026

An empty firebox tends to become the one spot in a living room that nobody looks at, and this electric log set from Country Living makes it the center of the room again. The logs are hand molded and individually painted to look like real split wood, and the multi-layered LED flames flicker behind the grate with enough depth to look natural in photos and in person. On the 23" and 27", you can choose between 3 flame colors and 5 brightness levels to match the mood of the room. Every size can run the flames without heat, so the fireplace stays decorative year-round. When the room needs warmth, the built-in heater adds supplemental heat for spaces up to 400 sq.ft.

I love it! It looks like realistic logs during the day. And in the evening the glowing embers and flame effect look very realistic and amazing. I’m do agree with others that the crackling sound is not realistic so we don’t turn it on. The other thing we did was place a small metal can (altoids can) under the back side to lean it forward a little, so the flames shoot higher. That is a personal preference though.. Jennifer. Glendale, CA. Fri Jun 19 2026

Adds wonderful ambience and coziness - I love that I can turn the heat off and still use in summer. A little plastic-y up close but great from a distance.. Marianne. Sasalito, CA. Sat Aug 15 2026

It’s more of a creamy yellow white vs a bright white - not a dealbreaker for me although I maybe would’ve chosen black had I seen the actual color. You can have the fire and flame on without the heat, which is nice for aesthetics. The heat function works quickly and would be sure to heat up a room to comfortability. I do think it runs constantly vs reaching a certain temperature and turning off like a thermostat. It does have a safety feature that will turn off the heater if it overheats.. Sayde. Tulsa, OK.
