Adorable for the dog tub we installed in our laundry room. Things you should know: the tiles in the box seem random. We ordered 2 boxes. In all, we received varying quantities of each doggie face. Sometimes 2, 3, or 5 of any one particular face. You can match any two tiles side by side and it creates a face where the edges meet, but we didn't want to repeat the same center dog face side by side. It takes some effort since there are a different, random number of each face. We laid them out on the carpet and played with the layout, arranging and rearranging so we liked the design. Then we used blue painters tape on each tile and numbered them, starting with the bottom row, since that is what the tile installer would begin with. My husband made a great graphic illustration of the layout so there would be no mistakes. We used a white scallop tile for the sides of the tub, and a black and white mosaic for the floor. The house is still under construction so the plumbing is not finished - no hose and sprayer installed yet- and some of the grout was missing the day I took the pics. The tiles didn't have a really consistent flow from tile to tile in the marbling pattern. We had to lay out all of our tiles to find a decent flow and mark where on the floor every tile should go. These carpet tiles definitely transformed the little foyer in our home! We wanted to cover up the outdated, ugly, ceramic tile flooring that was there previously. So happy with the end result! The colors in the carpet tiles were exactly as described. This type of pattern will be great at hiding all of the foot traffic as well. I will say, it took us a while to get all of the tiles in place (measure twice, cut once definitely comes into play here!). Also, there’s a roll of sticky tape included, but you will probably need to get an additional roll of tape (we did, but it was worth it!). One tip Use a sharp utility knife. This made cutting the tiles much easier and helped keep the edges clean. We’re already starting on our second box of carpet tiles to cover up the ceramic-tiled landing as well! It’s looking good!. First, I would like to start off with... I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER AND THE OPTION TO INSTALL PROFESSIONALLY IS NOT OFFERED. Now, with that out of the way, I love this color flooring and the materials are so smooth when walking on it. The rich walnut goes perfect with my gold accent curtains. It makes the room feel really warm. It is important to purchased the right amount and place the panels in the right directions. The picture and the box that it comes in shows how the placement of the panels go. Do not put them all going in 1 direction, it will not work. I chose the snap and lock ones because I didnt want to get involved with all of that glue, also, I really didnt want to pull my vinyl flooring up because I am not a professional and if I messed up, I could just pull the panels up and hire a professional. (I pulled them up after taking the picture and Im hiring a professional right after this review lol). It seems easy enough, however, I need to pull my base boards off and pull my vinyl up so that they can secure properly.
