Installation is not beginner-level. You’re dealing with plumbing inside the wall, so plan accordingly or hire it out. Love the shower head overall. The pressure is much better than expected from a “rain” shower style. Buttons are easy to use. I do have a major issue with the durability. I’ve had it for just less than 1 year and I’ve already seen some rust on the shower head and I cannot get the wall plate to look clean. The water spots are impossible to remove even though I’ve cleaned it regularly with the suggested approach in the directions. It looks terrible and I’ve tried everything to clean it. Update on 4/2/2026 - Lowered my rating as the durability continues to be an issue. It's rusting badly and now the diverters are going bad. Was nervous about this purchase but I love it. It looks so pretty. I think I surprised my contractor though because of the two showerheads and the handheld all located on one wall. My original was a basic 1997 tub/shower combo. So we only had one tub faucet and one shower head. Converting to a luxury walk-in shower, I knew I wanted some bells and whistles. Ok. I ordered a different item, 2 days later I checked on the delivery. The web site said the item was canceled. Mayfair did not contact me about the cancelation. I order this part. Mayfair explained the delivery date and said if I needed it sooner I could pay 30.00 for expedited delivery. The item arrived late. I would like a refund for the extra shipping charge.
