This drop-leaf table is a great helper especially in a narrow room, just loose the hinges to lay down one board when you do not have many items to put on it, or fold down the two boards when not needed. Don’t remember reading in description it is NOT recommended to hang on drywall, but by the time I was reading the instructions, I was already committed. A bubble level and drill bit were even included to hang the shelf. I installed by myself (72 yo F) with help from a barstool and trashcan providing support while doing final installation. I used expanding wall anchors and so far it seems stable. The top screws on the wall bracket were hard to reach due to placement and support bracket being in the way, so I took frequent breaks when the screws were not cooperating. Overall an amazing desk for small spaces. It is super sturdy - you would never know it's a folding desk (doesn't move at all when typing, etc.). Very easily to install including a mounting template. This thing is worth 30 max, I feel like I should be paid for figuring out the build. I thought it was going to be revealed that I was on a game show where they reward people for figuring out how to build crummy furniture. Also most things now provide stickers to cover ugly hardware and help it blend better, this could’ve benefitted from the addition. Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment.
