It's important to note that with this design, the center square goes above the ceiling grid vs. sitting below it, so this is perfect for my application as the basement in my home is quite low in some areas where there is duct work, allowing me to optimize head space versus other designs that droop below the ceiling grid. First order was sent to me wrong color and wrong pattern but wayfair got in touch with the manufacturer and the right order was quickly shipped out. I’m very happy with it. If you have the grid system you just pop it in, if not I use glue for my laundry room ceiling because it’s easily removed in case I have another leak. I recently purchased the round mirror with a lighted border, and I must say, it's a stunning addition to my space! I have been looking at these ceiling panels for awhile, thinking I might be able to use them as decorative molding on the hall walls in our new-to-us home, and I finally ordered them. While they are really nice and a perfect size in my thinking, my hubby pointed out that he would not be able to customize the molding for end pieces on shorter length walls. He also mentioned that, while these panels are perfectly smooth, our walls have some texture, so the botton half of the wall would not all be the same texture. I had not really considered those things! These panels are really very well-made, sturdy without being heavy, and will look great when used on a ceiling as they are intended.
