We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. The headfootboardsside rails don’t perfectly line up, which bothers the perfectionist in me. Not enough screws included to screw in both sides of each slat, had to do every other. After waiting a few months for this bed on back-order, we finally have it in our bedroom! Were happy with the look and quality so far. We purchased it to fit in a small bedroom in the hope that the generous 11 under-bed clearance would allow the headboard to fit overtop of our condos radiator so that the headboard could be pushed right to the wall. Unfortunately, the stated dimensions are a bit deceiving and the actual under-bed clearance is closer to 9. We will have to use some wooden risers to make the bed high enough to clear the radiator. A small complaint for an otherwise beautiful bed.
