Great look and easy to assemble.. Erika. Macon, GA. Sun Oct 11 2026

This bench doesn’t just sit in your space—it breathes history into it. Crafted from salvaged timber, each plank carries the whispered stories of its past life. The natural cracks, nail holes, and variations in tone aren’t flaws—they’re proof of character, preserved with reverence. The design is deliberately simple—just thick, solid wood atop sturdy splayed legs—because when material speaks this eloquently, it needs no ornament. No two pieces are alike, and yours will develop its own soft sheen over years of use. This is slow decor for those who believe beauty should be earned, not manufactured.

Was easy to assemble. Sturdy and the perfect size for what we wanted at end of guest bed.. Kris. Fowlerville, MI. Fri Oct 02 2026

Cute little bench, holds quite a bit. Won’t be using for shoes, but it will hold a lot of other things. The cushion is very thin, so if you want to use it for an entry sit down bench, you may need to add more cushion. Very easy to install, it even came with its own screw driver.. Amy. Goose Creek, SC. The Painswick Storage Bench is the perfect perch for removing boots in an entryway or garden shoes in the mud room. Crafted of pine in a smooth finish, Painswick's three removable woven baskets provide no-fuss storage, and a white cotton cushion completes the look with comfort and farmhouse charm.

Turned out very nice! I love it! Going to put this in my foyer for people to put their shoes in. Took about 30-45 minutes to put together wasn’t bad at all. The only thing we had an issue with is with one of the screws on the basket. We had to leave that one out because it would not screw in for some reason and it doesn’t affect the usability of it because it’s the screw in the back. Overall very nice buy highly recommend!. Ayesha. Sat Oct 10 2026

This shoe bench feels sturdy, has a fairly comfortable cushion, and looks as pictured. It has a few pieces in the assembly process and the parts are not interchangeable because of the shelf embedded on one side, but it was exactly what I needed - a pretty, narrow bench to sit on while putting on my shoes by the door in my hallway, for both myself and my older parents..
