Solid desk, feels substantial. Lots of storage. It has a distressed look so the table top is not completely smooth - you'll need to lay down a writing pad to hand write. 24" depth is good for monitor and keyboard. I will warn that it is super heavy. the top piece alone is like half the weight of the desk. was able to install it by myself just fine, went together quite quickly with a drill. While the bottom could home a pc, I was advised against for gpu performance reasons, but you totally could if you wanted to with the hole for cords in the back. there is a shelf that sits in there that I took out in the picture..
