This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. After I tightened those screws, everything worked well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I really enjoy walking in the room and seeing this new dresser.. Gabriel. Texas. Overall we really like the dresser - we have a smaller room and wanted something a bit more narrow to fit our area. We love the style and feel it will hold up well. Pros: this is definitely not a solid wood dresser (which is how it’s advertised of course), but it feels sturdy enough. On furniture that tends to be cheaper, I always worry about misaligned drawers, but these all look great and lined up well. Cons: though easy to put together, the assembly process was time consuming. The drawers appear to be nice and deep, but they are more shallow than expected (the front of the drawer is much larger than the actual drawer itself). There is an irreparable blemish on a small part of the laminate that appears to be either damage in shipping or a manufacturer issue. There are some color inconsistencies on the front of the dresser in perfectly straight lines - it appears the tape/strapping material led to a slight discoloration. Overall if I was expecting perfection we would have spent a bit more money, but the quality for the price is good. This dresser fits the bill for what we needed. I will admit that it took me the better part of two days to construct it. There are very few words in the instruction manual. It was a fun puzzle. There were 278 instances of screwing a connection. I did more than that because at a couple of points I had constructed parts of it incorrectly based upon the non-instructions so had to disassemble and re-assemble. Some parts of this cabinet are solid wood but most are composite wood which doesn’t do well with re-worked screw holes. A few broken off toothpicks and a little wood glue fixed these instances! The top suggestion that should have been in the instructions is: Do not over tighten screws in the composite board! It strips the screw holes and makes a wobbly connection. I learned it through experience pretty quickly, but spent an hour or so strengthening those connections after I had made this mistake. I know the instructions say construction of this chest should be by two adults, but that would never have worked with me and my husband. He has different gifts. This chest of drawers requires a love of puzzles, patience and the desire to learn new skills. I actually loved building it and the result is solid, fully functional and attractive.. Cheryl. I really did love this purchase although it was a little annoying!!! First, I would like to say that the instructions were a little bit confusing because I prefer detailed captions along with the illustrations so it took a while to assemble this dresser so be patient with yourself. well it arrived practically overnight so that was a surprise. after unboxing, all the parts were neatly and sufficiently wrapped and marked and upon inspection of all the parts all the necessary holes were there and all the bolts and nuts allen wrench hex wrench etc. it was quite an easy assembly I think the hardest part I had was to keep my head wrapped around which was the front but if you pay attention its a no-brainer. they gave a couple extra rails in case one breaks and a few extra nuts and bolts, and one extra handle. its a sufficient size with four big drawers and four smaller drawers however this space saving dresser will hold a lot. I plan on giving it to my granddaughter for her third son and I know she was in the market for one. the article is quite stable on its own so no anti-tipping device is needed at this point. This is a heavy SOLID piece, looks higher quality when assembled took me about 2.5 hours but I move slow. Assembly is not my favorite as I did it solo— it’s doable and you have to not rush and read the directions. I had worse assembly with Wayfair products. Shipment was fine but I needed a dolly to move into my garage due to the weight of the box. Opened it in the garage and move the individual pieces upstairs a few at a time. The drawers are smaller but meet my needs in a spare room. The review that have issues may not have completed all the steps and used all the screws. I’d buy this again if I needed a second one. My daughter has so many clothes so I used this in her closet for all the extra stuff that cant fit in her drawers and it could not have worked out any better. Looks pretty too!
