The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. I’d love to give this comforter 5 stars because it’s very comfy and feels almost like hotel quality. However after a month of use I started to feel some itchiness and realized that it was because feathers were coming out of the fabric. The solution is to use a duvet cover which is a little disappointing for me as I feel they just make the comforter hotter, and I’m already a hot sleeper. I’m really impressed with this. It is beyond my exceptions for the price. The white is a bright white. The plush is plushy. I was hesitant buying knowing it’s polyester and I sometimes feel hot at night. I would still recommend cotton shell if you’re a hot sleeper and not this but it’s not too bad paired with my cotton percale sheets it’s a good balance of crisp cool sheets and a cozy comforter. I love the versatility of this comforter. Maybe I’m easily intrigued lol but I’ve never had a reversible comforter before. Especially not one made with bamboo. It’ll be hard to choose which side to use. I may end up switching them weekly. The taupe color is exactly how it looks in the photos. The chocolate color is so chic.
