It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. Love how it looks on the bed. When I first took it out of the freeze dried pkg it was so wrinkled I didn’t think I would ever get all the wrinkles out but my husband put it in the washer and spun it out. Dried a while on cool air. Then took it out and laid it flat on an extra bed and left it there to air dry. It looked much better. I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually prefer bedding with a soft, silky feel so that my skin does not catch against the fabric. For that reason, this duvet cover is not my personal favorite. The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set.
