I removed a star because it took almost 3 hours to put together, and that was an experienced handyman that did it. He said it was very involved. Lot to assemble, but when done looks good and sturdy. The only flaw that I see is that I wish they had used a heavier duty top board rather than the half inch thick particle board which could allow placement of a printer or anything else with a little bit of weight. I like this office cabinet but there where some aspects that could be improved— the assembly was straightforward but labor intensive especially if you are assembling manually (no power drill), and through the assembly process it was easy to scratch and chip the finish making the final product look used rather than brand new.. Is is a really nice bamboo storage chest. I absolutely love the size of it, it fits right under my dest perfectly to store my art utensils. It wasn't hard to put together in my opinion, and no pieces were missing or broken. It's sturdy because it's bamboo and it has a nice finish on it. The drawers don't have rollers so they can slide all the way out easily if you pull them all the way out, so make sure not to pull the drawers out too fast. I like how long the drawers are, even though they are not tall they still fit a lot of smaller or flatter items. It's the perfect storage chest for beauty items, art projects, office items and more.
