Seeking to forget makes exile all the longer; the secret of redemption lies in remembrance" - Richard von Weizsaecker (b. 1920). In the exquisite sculptural style of the mid-18th-century masters, artist Jaimy has captured every detail of this powerfully emotional angel, from her elegant wings to her impressively muscular form. The dramatic, nearly four-foot-tall work of sculptural art, is cast in quality designer resin and hand-painted one piece at a time to enhance every sculptural detail. The garden angel showcases celestial emotion often challenging to capture in a sculpture. The showcase of the Louvre still thrills viewers today as Nike, Winged Victory, presides over its grand staircase. This scaled rendition of the goddess of victory with angelic wings spread as she landed on the prow of a ship is thought to be announcing the Rhodian naval victory over Antiochos III. In 1863, Charles Champoiseau, a French amateur archeologist, began a series of excavations in Samothrace, Greece, and found the somewhat intact statue. By 1884, the Goddess of Victory statue was restored by the Louvre. This Design Toscano masterpiece of Hellenistic Art sculpture is mesmerizingly detailed from draped fabric to extended goddess wings. Cast in quality, fiberglass-reinforced designer resin, for year-round display in a home, garden, or restaurant, this classical masterpiece boasts an exquisite, faux limestone finish.

It is crafted from magnesium oxide, creating a material that stands up to the elements while remaining light enough to move around your yard. Its weathered finish adds a bit of vintage-inspired charm that blends seamlessly with existing greenery. Graceful and serene, this angel statue captures a moment of gentle motion, as if drifting softly through the air. With finely sculpted wings and flowing robes, it brings a peaceful, uplifting presence to any space.

I have eight (8) statues on my property and I ordered this statue for a specific place and I needed a smaller statue and that's why I ordered this one from Wayfair. I paid right at $400 total. I received it today. It was in a large box. When I opened it, the wings of the angel were detached and they had to be put on the statue with screws provided. I did not realize this when I initially ordered it. It is actually smaller than I had thought, but it will suffice. It is lighter in weight than I had thought also. I will have to glue it to a base pedestal in order for the wind not to blow it off. Also, the wings attach with a little metal bracket with the screw exposed. I am wondering if this will rust from being in the weather. I am going to keep it but, to be honest, I am a little disappointed. This is the first time that I have ordered a statue online and received it in the mail. Overall it looks okay, it is nice and it accomplishes the effect that I intended but it is just not real nice for the price for me. Someone else will probably think it is wonderful!. Bobby.
