This clothing rack is good but it is very light overall. I did not attach it to the wall. I would recommend that you anchor it with heavier items on the bottom racks. You can build it on your own but recommend 2 people to put it together. You also need a small screwdriver for the very last assembly piece for the metal cross-bar poles (attached in the back after you stack the bottom and top shelfs together). Screwdriver not included with packaging but does come with everything else, including the L-shaped hex key. Only downside is the clothing bars bow under very little weight. My husband reinforced the bars to provide additional support which fixed the warping issue. Overall we are pleased with our purchase.. I love this rod! It is made of a strong black metal iron making it very sturdy. It feels good to the touch. I needed a rod that could be hung on a slanted wall and the design allows for it to be hung at any angle. I think it looks amazing! I loved it so much I bought 3!
