ROOM DARKENING ROMAN SHADES – Immerse your indoor spaces in the perfect ambiance with our fabric Roman shades for windows, seamlessly blending casual elegance with the magic of room darkening and enhanced insulation.

Simple Stuff Cordless Room Darkening Roman Shade It's a nice heavy shade, retracts smoothly. Negatives are: It took weeks with the ionizer air cleaner running to get the odor knocked down enough to be in the same room!!! Not sure how to describe the smell. As other reviewers have said the plastic part you put on to pull the shade down is as close to impossible to get it on. After finding a way to squeeze it open some I wondered if the other side was the way to do it since there was just fabric at first to slide it onto or if the hard part it goes on had slid to the other side when I was struggling. You can just tug the bottom without the finger holder pull down and it would work fine. Get rid of the smell before shipping and it would be a super great choice.. Anonymous. Prineville, OR. I purchased these blinds for my small condo on the beach. The bedroom gets a lot of light and I was looking for something that wasn't fabric and would block light. It does exactly that. I love that it is cordless, so it's safe for small children and pets. Installation was fairly easy, but the longer one, I needed a second person to hold the blind up while fasted the anchors. The only downfall is that, since I put it on a door, I can see the edges which are not finished. It's not a dealbreaker, but if I were to buy them for the windows, I would do an inside mount.. Don't order these. They drape very poorly and look awful in real life-- the pictures are misleading. Additionally the cost to return them is outrageous. They get two stars because the installation process is simple, they have a nice mechanism for pulling the shade up and down and the representation of the color was good.. Kelsey. Revere, MA. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty impressed with this shade! Sizing was off a bit and there seems to be a small hole but looking up the product it seems like others have the same small hole. My biggest issue was it came very crinkled and took a really look time to flatten out. Fabric and color are very pretty and goes up and down smoothly. We might get more for our new house!. The darkening liner does not go all the way across the curtain- which gives it a striped look and allows a lot of light on. The liner also crinkles like paper when you put the shade up and down. Susan. NY. Mon Jun 22 2026
