Built for real home offices, not a generic cabinet — this 35.4" metal lateral file cabinet gives you full-size hanging storage in the slim footprint of a printer stand. Drop your printer or scanner on top; you've still got room for a plant. Two full-extension drawers glide on ball-bearing slides and hold 110 lbs each of letter, legal, or F4 files. A built-in interlock lets only one drawer open at a time, and wall-mount hardware is included — double the safety for homes with kids or pets. One lock secures both drawers (two keys included). Matte black powder-coated steel resists fingerprints and scuffs. Tools and a step-by-step guide in the box — most setups take about 30 minutes.

Take your time while putting this together. Between the 2 of us we got it done. Noticed several chips on corners. Not sure if damaged in transit or while boxing. Will have to touch up the areas. The only thing I'm not happy with is you cannot put files on both sides in large drawer. Does not fit. Will have to use one side for storage and not files.. Helene. Sun City Center, FL. This elegant filing cabinet features sliding barn doors and open storage shelves, complete with two document drawers, LED lighting strips, and built-in power outlets. Its spacious desktop (47.2 inches long) easily accommodates printers and scanners. Create a warm ambiance and elevate your home's aesthetic appeal.

I would actually give this more of a 3.8 star. I put it together in about 3 1/2 hrs by myself. I had 1 piece that was cracked right down the middle and of course, it was a front piece so it is very noticeable. Very odd also because this piece was in the middle of the box surrounded by all the other pieces. Personally, I think it was cracked when putting the pieces in the box by the manufacturer. Anyway, it went together pretty easy. Not as easy as the desk but it wasn't horrible. I will say, the instructions are not near as accurate as the desk was. (Same manufacturer also). A couple pictures were labeled wrong and and some didn't show direction of panel so you have to look ahead in the steps to make sure you have it correct. Pretty slim material but when put together it is very sturdy. I will update review when I hear what manufacturer is going to do for the cracked piece.. Peter. Sun Jul 26 2026

The Winstone 2 drawer lateral filing cabinet is both attractive and practical. It was, however, challenging to assemble taking over six hours. Not all of the pieces were labeled, diagrams could have been clearer, and some of the hardware was difficult to distinguish. The price was fair, but not a bargain. Joe. Stafford, VA. Thu Sep 10 2026
