Ordered the black. My boyfriend installed them with ease at 30 inch width. I used lightweight sheers on the small rod and medium weight 96 inch length curtains on the larger rod. They hold up the curtains with zero sagging. I was concerned because several people reported that the rods were not aligned and caused the front curtains to hang either lower or higher than the back but I did not experience that problem. The only thing I would say is that they do extend pretty far (about 3 inches from the wall) but the dimensions mention that and it appears that it's necessary to accommodate the two rods. Overall a very nice item. They are lighter weight than I expected, but Im not putting too much stress on them with the sheer curtains and lightweight valence, so that shouldnt be an issue. I really like the mounts which allow sliding them over the screws before final tightening. The finish is a bit cheap looking to me however I dont have a lot of experience with gold finishes (prior rods Ive used have been brushed nickel), so maybe thats just me.
