It is a beautiful piece. Only complaint is it doesn't come with a cover (I purchased one later for these pieces but it doesn't cover the base for winter). It’s hard to tell from this picture but the egg shape is half wicker and half rope. That was a surprise but it doesn’t look that bad, it definitely makes the chair look cheaper but then again it’s more unique this way. I’m only 5 feet tall so I have to hop into it but it’s very comfortable and I added a couple of my own pillows. Eventually I will probably replace the cushion in this because although it’s comfortable, it’s a cheap material, like a rayon or polyester and it has a sheen that a cheap cushion tends to have.
