Overall a very nice item. They are lighter weight than I expected, but Im not putting too much stress on them with the sheer curtains and lightweight valence, so that shouldnt be an issue. I really like the mounts which allow sliding them over the screws before final tightening. The finish is a bit cheap looking to me however I dont have a lot of experience with gold finishes (prior rods Ive used have been brushed nickel), so maybe thats just me. The double curtain rod arrived quickly and very well packaged. No scratches or dings. Assembly was easy, I was able to remove my old hardware and rehang on the existing screws. I purchased the oil rubbed bronze. The finials look oil rubbed bronze but the rod looks more black. I hung up thermal curtains in the back and semi thermal curtains in the front. Try to keep some of the heat in. I noticed there is very little room between the wall and the first rod and the first rod in the second rod, so keep that in mind when you’re planning your curtains, I am sure it’s not a big deal if you’re using curtains and shears. Other concern is the back rod doesn’t stay tight, pulls apart when opening the curtains. I had to use tape to secure. Aside from that, still a great buy! I would recommend.. Melissa. US. The Duguay Double Curtain Rod serves the ultimate function of giving us a place to display our favorite curtains, but that doesn't mean they have to be boring! A circular, ornately-styled finial caps off each end of this telescoping curtain rod, crafted from metal and plastic in a neutral finish. This adjustable rod should be mounted outside the window frame, and we recommend you have a power drill, screwdriver, and level on hand for installation. Matching curtain rings and tie-backs are also included.
