I like these curtains very much! My daughter likes it better when she leaves the mesh part untied, but you can do whatever you like, it looks good anyway. I didn't use the curtains that came with it either as I wanted something that would contrast well with the color I painted the walls. And for anyone wondering: The curtains were just ok to begin with. They were linen on the outside and velvet on the inside. The black velvet looked nice and I feel the entire curtain should have been made of that material. The woven linen side seems kind of boring but if you have a small boutique, it would serve your purposes well. The poles are hollow but sturdy enough.
