Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026

I received my farmhouse size Murphy bed with lights and charging station on the date stated when I placed my order. The directions were could have had better pictures as we found ourselves guessing on a few occasions and had to stop and redo steps on one occasion. The Murphy bed took two people a few hours to assemble and I love it! The online pictures do not do justice as it looks so much nicer in person. I love the shelf and LED lights and how easy it is to set up and tear down. Im on oxygen 24 hours a day and have very little strength and yet Im able to pull the bed down myself. This bed is poorly designed with the rollers that support the rotating mechanism not being strong enough to support the weight of Even just the bed frame itself with no mattress.
