After assembly, this piece can support up to 300 lbs. And seat two people.

Great bench, arrived quickly and undamaged. Wood is medium colored as shown online (sorry my photo is backlit by a window and makes it look darker). Cushion is very firm do NOT recommend plopping down to test sitting. Double check the hardware before opening everything. We were missing a few long screws for the bottom, but had the right size at home and were able to substitute them in. Measurements are exactly as described online, which was very important since we plan to pull it over sometimes for additional seating at our dining table. Well-built, would recommend.. Amber. Nineteenth-century English craftsmen drew inspiration from Roman and Egyptian styles of the period; this style became known as Regency. An upholstered seat rests over a rectangular wood frame that is parted by shaped arms that are fitted with open traditional cane. The bench is elevated on flared tapering corner posts. Furniture and upholstery appearances can vary and are not guaranteed due to the inherent variation of all natural materials, including wood color, wood grain, leather, and stone material and finish. Upholstered seat heights may vary up to 1” due to crown variances and foam thickness. Product matches are not guaranteed if ordered at different times.

This was a horrible experience. I ordered this bench once it came in broken and the guys didn’t even take it off of the truck. I ordered a second time that Driver dumped a box that looked exactly like garbage on my front step. The box has been taped back together before it ever got to me, and there was a corner ripped open. You could look through and see that the bench itself was broken. I scheduled a return pick up, which got delayed for several days and ended up getting the OK to just donate whatever was in the box. When we opened the box, we found that both ends the legs were broken. It was terribly packaged and to be honest, even though from far away, it could have looked nice, up close the canning on it was very cheap and had some kind of a weird plastic-like frame.. Kimberly.
