This curtain is awesome. Made well, thick like a black-out curtain. I tried to give a before and after with this collage , however. The before was rather embarrassing with all the stuff we have stored (not neatly) in this attic room. Also, the original rod I bought was too big for the grommets. I used a smaller rod but could not get it to work diagonally so I have a big hook under the oops sign. It will be perfect to separate the two sides once I can hang it properly. These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. Great quality and very few wrinkles out the box! On a really tight budget and after lots of searching, I choose these. 52/72 and I needed light on weight rods are not the strongest and I'm not replacing at this time, but able to also black out. I have large east facing windows 52/72 are my windows. And terrible glare on the tv through most of the day. This really did cure the issue. Shade of blue was perfect.
