We couldn’t be happier with the Amish bear mailbox and matching bear mailbox post we ordered from Wayfair! The craftsmanship is wonderful, the bear has so much character, and it looks even better in person. It’s sturdy, unique, and definitely an eye-catcher—everyone who sees it comments on it. It was the perfect finishing touch for our Happy Camper property. We absolutely love it and would highly recommend it!. Lawrence. Crewe, VA. Sat Aug 22 2026

Larger than expected, well-made, sturdy.. Lara. Naugatuck, CT. Fri Feb 08 2019

Love this mailbox! However, be aware that there are issues with the assembly. They provide two long bolts to attach the mailbox support (scrolled piece) the the post. Only one bolt fits easily. The other bolt is too long to fit where it needs to go. We had to cut the bolt to get it in place. The base part had some jagged metal inside that we had to cut off so it would not scratch the post. Once installed it is sturdy and an attractive addition to our home.. Carol. Coral Springs, FL. Thu Oct 14 2021

Hi everyone. I am happy with my purchase experience from Wayfair. I needed a mailbox without a lock, so I searched through several websites. The Wayfair Rep contacted me within few hrs with detailed info about this product, so I have ordered my mailbox from them. The mailbox arrived earlier than it was announced. It was very well packed. My mailbox has been installed already and it looks great. I received a lot of compliments from my neighbors. Thank you, Wayfair!. Yelena. Jefferson City, MO. Sat Nov 13 2021

Looks really nice. Good quality. The only thing I had to fix and therefore one star removed, was the magnet inside the door of the mailbox was not secured and just swiveled around on it's screw. So the second day I tried to open it, the magnet had rotated around and "locked" the mailbox. It took some swearing and finding the right tool to get it open. Now it is secured with a washer underneath so that doesn't happen again.. Helen. Nags Head, NC. Fri Jan 22 2021

I just had the mailbox installed. It is VERY SOLID and heavy. Adds a lot of oopmh and curb appeal. Minus one star because some of the welding wasn't very clean and for the price I paid the seams should be perfect. Also, the screws that screw the mailbox to the base are very long. They end up sticking out alot inside the mailbox which make the mail not sit flat.. Carolyn. Half Moon Bay, CA. Fri Aug 02 2019

Wow. For $700, not impressed. Doesn't come with instructions (at all). Also the light they sent is black, so doesn't even match the rustic antique bronze post and mailbox.... the concept was great, but end result for what you paid.. I'm not happy at all. On the directions, how is the best way to mount pole in ground, dig hole? How deep, should you sleeve it or concrete it in? How far down.. things like that. Again, the light not matching the post , no directions.... for the price. This is an EPIC fail.. Britanie. Smithville, TX. Sat Aug 17 2024
