It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Everything seems very durable and we even had a storm blow through today and there were no issues plus my chickens love it.. M Sembera. Sun Sep 13 2026

Very happy with the quality and ease of setup. Purchased for stray cats to relax in. Comes with 4 metal spikes which appears to be sufficient. However, the bottom "Feet" come with 2 holes each. This outdoor dog kennel provides safety, security and comfort for your furry friend.

I am very pleased with this kennel. It arrived undamaged. There was no rust or bent parts. All parts were included. It was easy to put together. LATER: Although the manufacturer says it is waterproof, I see now that if a drop of water even touches it, then rust appears. I have it UNDER a side patio roof but it is rusting already!. Margaret. The patented Dog Proofer fence extension system is the most effective solution available today for modifying existing fencing to stop larger animals such as dogs, coyotes, foxes, etc. from climbing and/or jumping over a fence. They fence extensions allow you to add up 2 feet of additional height to your existing fence made from wood, chain link, brick, block, vinyl/pvc, or metal. In addition, they proprietary design is custom engineered to to force your dog (or intruder animal) to climb the fence. Once they reach the edge of the arm, they are unable to plant their back feet (which is how these animals derive their strength to climb) which makes them dangle for a time before giving up and falling back to the ground.  Dogs and large predators alike do not have the front leg muscles to pull their weight vertically without the use of their hind legs. Kit includes components to outfit approximately 100 linear feet of fencing. The number of corners and gates may require additional components. (1) 4' x 100' Galvanized and pvc coated welded wire mesh (12) Galvanized and powder coated houdini-proof dog fence extension arms (2) 120lb Test heavy duty black zip ties - bag (100) No fasteners to hold fence extenders to posts are included due to the wide variety of fencing types and materials.

**Good Value, but Be Prepared for the Wire Mesh** Overall, for the price, this kennel is a good value. The frame is sturdy 4 stars out of 5, the fencing gets 2 stars out of 5 and assembly itself wasn’t too bad. It looks good and should serve its purpose well. A few things to consider: the gate was smaller than I expected, and the top frame bar runs across the entire length of the kennel, leaving an opening under 4 feet in height. At 6’1”, I have to duck every time I enter to change the water or retrieve a toy. That one’s on me for not paying closer attention to the dimensions. My biggest complaint is the wire mesh. During unpacking, the top and bottom wire came unhooked in several places and became tangled. Fixing it required detaching sections and literally reweaving the wire back together. What should have been a straightforward assembly turned into several extra hours of work. After that experience, I feel qualified to start my own fencing company. On the plus side, the kit included gloves, open-end wrench, and drill driver attachment for the self tapping screws were thoughtful additions. **Bottom line:** It looks good and is a decent kennel for the money, but be prepared for some frustration with the wire mesh, and double-check the gate dimensions before purchasing. Give your dog a durable, weather-resistant home with this resin dog house. Built to withstand sun, rain, and everyday wear, it resists fading, warping, and biting—so it stays solid and colorful for years. The sloped roof prevents rainwater from pooling, keeping the interior dry. Adjustable shutter vents allow you to control airflow, reducing odors and keeping the space cool and comfortable. The roof opens fully for easy cleaning—just vacuum or wipe down the interior with a damp cloth. Assembly is straightforward with labeled parts and clear instructions—no complicated tools required. A reliable, low-maintenance shelter your dog will love.

This dog house exceeded my expectations. The material was lightweight but sturdy and resistant to leaks in the rain. The inside is spacious. Our medium sized dog (lab/pit bull mix that weighs 65 lbs) went in, laid down, and was sleep in 5 minutes--a sign that he was very comfortable in it. It was easy to assemble. We did it in 15 minutes. Lastly, I really like that the top opens so it's easy to put items inside, like the dog bed. The only thing I wish it had is a doggy door flap to help keep bugs and any small creatures out of it when it's outside and he's not in it. We'll likely add one. Otherwise, this was a perfect find!. Attention! This product is not only suitable for chickens, but also for dogs, ducks, rabbits, and other small animals like lambs. Whether you live in the country or slumber in the city, it might be possible to have one or two (or six) chicken coops of your own. It's important to check zoning laws before buying chickens, but it's surprisingly possible to raise hens (though usually not early-crowing roosters) in a small yard.

We used this as kennel for our small dogs when we put them outside on nice days. The cover blocks out the sun so they don't get too hot. The built in food and water dishes are perfect since they are attached, they cannot til them over when something excites them. The size is perfect for them and gives us peace of mind knowing they can't escape.. Jennifer. Durand, WI. Thu Oct 08 2026
