I recently became an unexpected mom to a huge 9-months-old border collie. I needed a good sturdy kennel and wanted one that was attractive as well. I really love this kennel. It is very large, but it's what I needed. I had some difficulty putting it together by myself, but it is very doable. I also purchased the beautiful pillow shown inside in the attached photo from Wayfair, but the pillow is a little too lofty for my dog. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Our dog is only in her crate occasionally but due to some behavioral issues (shes a rescue with a terrible past) we will need a crate available, so I wanted something that looked like a piece of furniture. My husband and I spent just about over an hour putting it together. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend it. My -1 star is for when you pull the corner protectors off, be careful! Overall the crate is very nice, putting it together took quite a few hours but it came together. I took a star away because it’s kinda hard to open the front doors without putting your whole arm through the crate bars to unlatch the bottom & top. Also one side of the front crate door hinges didnt properly go in all the way so the doors are a little uneven. Wow! This was ridiculously easy to “assemble”! It’s really shipped and ready to put up and use. Less than 5 minutes! It looks good and is very sturdy. The door swings wide so it’s comfortable for the dog to enter. The latch is strong but easy for my 80 year old mom to open and close.
