Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. It emanates from the box more but does linger on the wood. The stability issue resolved one the legs were tightened appropriately. The table is beautiful and fits the space perfectly. The exact look we were going for. Love it is from reclaimed wood. We will be applying a satin sealer since the wood is not sealed. When wiping the wood down, the colors really popped! This collection takes a number of design and construction techniques from the early woodworkers. One example is the uneven board lay-up that shows off the individual pieces of solid wood that make up each part of the furniture.

I love this end table! I ended up buying two of them for both sides of my sofa. It’s a nice heavy, beautiful piece of furniture. One thing to highlight is the top is not flat (hopefully you can tell from the pictures).
