I’ve never had anything made out of rubber wood before when I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It has a very prominent grain similar to oak. I am very happy with the look and quality at this price point. I was struggling to find something to for my narrow space in this room. They do feel more expensive than the other similar items in this price range. A few things to note, I don’t love the slight seam to the backing but it’s is hardly noticeable when decorated. Another thing to note is there are stickers to cover the screws etc. not my favorite but at this price point it’s not bad, and at least you don’t look at the screws like some other affordable pieces. I’m really impressed with this 2-tier bookcase with drawer! Assembly was very easy, and once put together, it feels extremely sturdy and well-made. What really stood out to me is the drawer. I’ve purchased furniture from other companies where the drawers can feel wobbly, loose, or just not very well constructed. That is definitely not the case with this one! The drawer feels solid, stays in place, and glides along the rails so smoothly when opening and closing. I also love the rustic finish—it gives it a beautiful, warm look while still being practical.
