The only reason I’m giving this dresser a 4* rating is the customer service !!! I received it and a very big amount of the parts were damaged or broken. No questions asked, they sent me a brand new one! However, it’s a pretty poor quality. The drawers don’t slide in smoothly and get stuck all the time. There is a separate piece that goes in the frame of the face of the drawers and is not properly glued to the frame so it all moves as you open the drawers. I had to glue them all myself so it doesn’t drive me crazy every time I open it. If you are looking for a quality dresser- I would not recommend this one! Very happy with this dresser! It was relatively easy to assemble because we had all the parts/pieces, pre-drilled holes were accurate, and we took our time understanding the directions before we built. It was easy enough that after completing the first 3 steps together, I handed it off to my 13 year old to complete. He said it was just like building a LEGO Technic, if that provides a frame of reference for anyone. It is less expensive materials, but that shouldn’t be a surprise. I am impressed with the strength, design and finish of this Yakota Wood 3 drawer dresser. The drawers have a support bar underneath which will keep the bottom of the drawer from popping out, so long as you don’t overstuff the drawer. The dresser is surprisingly heavy.
