Nice soft texture for an inside/outdoor carpet. It doesn't look cheap like a different one I purchased before. I bought the biggest size and have no where to lay flat and let the creases unfold until it gets warm and I can clean off driveway and take it outside. The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! Our rug was delivered as expected , very nice delivery to our door . It was a beautiful day to set up the patio . The rug was to the right size for our patio set , sofa , two swivel side chairs , a fire pit and end table all in wicker . The color was as shown in brown and silvery white beige . I love it oh and the umbrella brings out the gray and brown of the house and rug . The price was good being I do like to change them .
