This table is very gorgeous. This does take some time to put together. It is not a quick put together. It takes time and effort and you really need two people to put it together and to be able to assemble everything. I would recommend this table. It is a cheap easy option to have. I feel that it is a little lower than expected. As far as having any legroom to really sit underneath of the table and it does not do well with chairs at the far ends for the captains chairs I have to keep the chairs flipped upside down and put on the table when not in use. Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place.
