This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. Only thing I would change would be an option for an off/motion on mode rather than just low light/bright motion. Love that we can put it anywhere we need more light.. Robert. Leroy, OH. The light was relatively simple to put together and install it was perfect to replace our old pole light. The two bulb feature puts out the perfect amount of light and the dusk to dawn sensor is in a nice easy spot and sure to save money operating only when needed. This light fixture is a nice upgrade to our old one. It's larger and the tempered glass really adds some extra glow at night. The installation was fairly easy until the copper ground wire came undone from the fixture. It was attached with a standard clip but the clip was slightly loose. It was a pretty easy fix though. Just slid it back in and clamped the clip down with some pliers. The rest of the wiring was just fine and straight-forward. The instructions were very clear. It was packaged very well.. Julie.
