The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This chair replaced a loveseat that we didn’t need anymore. It accommodate a taller person with longer legs due to the dimensions of the cushion from knee to hip. it is a little lower to the ground than I anticipated, but it is doable. Solid price compared to other resellers. Although slightly uneven at the legs, it is still solid and well made. I did notice that the upholstery on the back was able to come off due to loose screws, which means that you can eventually replace only the upholstery if need be, however, I did manage to stress the wood by screwing it too tightly, which I am not happy about.
