Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. Once you pass that step, then it tells you to go back and screw them to 100%. That probably would’ve saved me about half an hour, but that’s user error, lol. I would 100% recommend.. Dina. The table is gorgeous! Very expensive looking. I love it now that it is assembled and put in place. Just be warned, it is extremely heavy! I did not purchase the assembly and that was a mistake. I thought there is just 8 bolts, how hard can it be It was hard. First the holes did not line up with the holes on the wood. It required reaming of the holes with a drill. Then when we tried to put it upright it was impossible for 3 adults. We ended up getting 4 strong friends to help put it into place. I am so glad I bought it. It is beautiful!
