You are going to need a partner, not just to carry it in, but to unpack and assemble. Give yourself plenty of floor space and time. I can't tell you how long it will take in one sitting because we worked on it over a period of several nights. It was a challenge to line things up at times, but patience and persistence paid off. The frame is metal and very sturdy. Not sure what the top is made of, but it appears to be, perhaps, some sort of a laminate. If you are tough on tabletops [like a crafter for instance] I would not recommend this. But for dining ... perfection! Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. This table is so beautiful and wasn’t too difficult to put together solo. I only asked my husband to help me flip it over at the end (and I did use a drill to speed things up). Overall a good looking table at first glance. If you’re sitting at the table it’s obvious that the surface is digitally printed (slightly speckled) and that’s why I rated 4 stars. The table was easy to assemble with two people and fits perfectly in my small bungalow. The digitally printed stone pattern was not called out in any of the product details. I knew it wasn’t marble but the description is misleading because it says stone, not laminated stone. I was under the impression this would be a faux travertine all stone tabletop.
