This is a solid piece of furniture that was incredibly easy to assembly not made of nice heavy solid wood and slides open really smoothly. When you flip it open make sure it’s slid to the middle so it doesn’t over bend, it needs to be in the middle to be even.. Tiia. Somerville, MA. Thu Oct 15 2026

Really easy to build and very sturdy but I was missing a whole set of screws. I think they accidentally put in more of another set because I had more than enough to build the piece and it works perfectly as I imagine it should. Also, the hinges are visible when it’s folded and very visible because it’s silver on dark walnut but it is what it is. It’s sturdy, doesn’t wobble and the table top is flat when it’s up. Can’t complain for the price and it does exactly what I needed - take up very little square footage. Judy. Nyack, NY. Thu Jun 11 2026

Genius. It does exactly what you expect. The only problem is that if you're using it as a shelf, you have to figure out where to put everything in order to make it a table. But you know that going into it. I love it!. Anonymous. Sun Oct 04 2026

The only reason this gets 3 stars is because it was not expensive and still works. It took 4 hours to put together only to have issues. The top came chipped, the instructions were not in the right order which made putting on the side doors impossible due to there being no room for a screwdriver. The front door left a big gap, and the glass is dirty or damaged, but unable to fix due to the issue being in between both panels.. Rebekah. Highlands Ranch, CO. Fri Oct 23 2026

This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . The three shelves offer larger real estate for things like that multi-cooker you just can’t seem to fit anywhere. I was a little concerned when I bought this as it had no reviews (and was being sold by multiple sellers), but the product was just as advertised. It was a bit troubling to put together some parts, but overall the instructions were decent. I would say it could fit four chairs, but two (one on each side) the person wouldn't have the best leg room as it would be near the cabinet portion. Expanding and shrinking the table is fairly simple and its great for places that don't have a lot of space or rarely need a dining room table.. Brittany. Dayton, OH. Thu May 14 2026
