The color looks different in some of the pictures and in customer reviews. I hope it was going to be a little darker but it blended with our floors so much it looked to monochromatic in our space. The underside of the table top was a lot nicer in grain the peoper side. The "grain" look had some white washing effect. If you like that, it looks nice, but I preferred without it. It is a very nice piece. If we needed another dining room table in another part of the house, I would keep. The pedastal legs are nice and gives room for sliding chairs in. I love the rounded corners which is the reason we bought it so that another chair can squeeze in without being stabbed by a regular sharp edge.. Eileen. GA. Fri Sep 18 2026

This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . The Summit dining table is built around a ribbed cylindrical column that rises from a wide circular foot to carry a generous round tabletop, creating a form that is as considered in its base as it is in the surface it holds. Fine vertical ribbing wraps the full height of the column, giving it an architectural depth that shifts with the light from morning to evening. The 47-inch circular top comfortably seats four and accommodates up to six for occasional gatherings, with no head of the table to dictate where conversation begins. The column is built from solid oak for its density and structural integrity, while the tabletop and wide circular foot are constructed from plywood finished in oak veneer, distributing weight with quiet, confident stability and resisting water and moderate heat without asking anything of the people using it. Available in two colourways. The Summit arrives ready to become the centre of the room it is placed in.
