There was a minor manufacturing defect on the stitching of one of the chairs, but wayfair gave me a discount on the product since it didn't warrant returning (still functional). Overall, I'd buy these again. I also have been able to get occasional stains/spots out of the fabric - I have the grey padded one so maybe it's less noticeable with those. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. This is a really cute table especially if you are tight on space. We got this because we rarely would use the "dining" area of our house and have a small kitchen nook table for our primary use. We got this table to be able to seat more than just my husband and I. I love that it comes assembled. It seems to be pretty solid. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that getting all 4 chairs to store inside is nearly impossible. Three chairs fit very comfortably getting the 4th in takes 2 specialized degrees in physics, engineering and a sophisticated grasp of tetris. I felt like once we got the 4th chair in that A) we wouldn't be able to recreate the event and B) it's gonna scratch the heck out of the chairs.
