This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . It is Ideal for family dinners and gatherings.MDF board is waterproof and can be easily wiped clean as new.The movable tabletop design is suitable for various application scenarios, making it convenient to meet the dining needs of 4 to 12 people.

For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

A trestle-style table of brown-finished solid oak brings a traditional look to modern speed. Seats up to 10 comfortably.

I really like this table. The wood is smooth, but not overly polished. It has a bit of a rustic look, but not too much that it didn’t work in my room. I love the fact that it is one solid 8’ tabletop, rather than extensions.. Karen. MD. Wed Feb 04 2026

We’re putting together our new dining room and this table is a hit. The only thing I don’t prefer is that one extended side is an extension of the main table top and the other side is not. I’m not sure if that’s typical as I’d prefer if they both match. Otherwise, the table is heavy and very sturdy. Comfortably fits 8-10, but 12 is a big stretch.. Sean. Lancaster, PA. Sat Aug 29 2026

Turned trestle legs and a thick oak table top create a fine-dining focal point. Reclaimed woods are bleached to remove years of paint and stain, then finished with a neutral stain, soft lacquer, and layers of wax.

Love the reclaimed look and feel. It is an extremely heavy table. Be prepared to have extra help on hand when placing the table in your dining room.. Kristen. TX. Tue Aug 21 2018

I recently moved to a place with a smaller dining area yet needed a table that could extend. This was exactly what I needed. Its more narrow but what I wanted. I already had the chairs and they matched great! The quality is not solid wood, but for the price Id be surprised if it was. It is definitely a very dark color almost black. Overall Im happy with this table!. Sandra. Plainfield , IL. Tue Oct 13 2026

Exactly as shown on the website. Heavy. Substantial. Goes really well with some chairs from Wayfair that we love too. PAY ATTENTION TO THR CARE WARNINGS!
