I am beyond happy with this dining room table and chairs! The description says rubberized wood, not sure what that means, but it looks like regular painted wood. It arrived in four boxes, none of which weighed more than 40 pounds. The instructions were straightforward and tools were included. I struggled with tightening the bolts on the pedestal so I used my own wrench. The chairs do not wobble, they are secure on the floor. This set is good quality for DIY furniture. The linen white color matches my soft, white cabinetry well. One caution is making sure you are using the correct bolt size (face palm). It took me 2-3 hours to assemble and I was tired by the last chair assembly so I had to undo the seat and legs because I used the wrong bolts. Inspect table and chairs carefully asap. Mine came with multiple cracks in various pieces. Box came all taped up. Dining set is pretty. Not what I thought I was ordering. Seems cheaply made. Seats are compact so you can sit closer to the table while eating. Feels like plastic finishing even when it says wood. Quality and color of seats are more yellowish than cream and seems to be able to show dirt or stain if you spill something. Top is cut up into small wood and not a solid surface. It’s really pretty looking dining set. The chairs came first and well packed then the table arrived 3 days later. It’s easy to assemble. I like the idea that I don’t have to take out the leaf extension , just fold and it goes underneath the table. I had a little problem when i opened the box (table) the hardware box was opened, bolts and washers are everywhere.
