I will start this review by saying if you are planning to use these as true drawers for clothes, it’s probably not the best option. I think it would work better for children’s clothes, but if you did put adult clothes in the drawers, I’d limit it to undergarments, socks, and maybe t shirts. The drawers are shallow. In addition to being shallow they are a pain to assemble, it’s the most time consuming part of the assembly process, so just be prepared. I separated the pieces because my bedroom wall wasn’t long enough to hold all three side by side, I used the middle piece with the glass doors as a small cabinet at the entryway of the house. Either way I’ve gotten lots of compliments on the set! I’m giving it 5 stars because I was using it mostly for aesthetic purposes, and the middle piece is great for extra storage. It’s very very heavy. Be forewarned. The assembly isn’t too challenging but takes time. I did it entirely by myself. The disappointment come from the shallow draws. Even though it measures nearly 16”, they don’t open more than half way, so you need to removed them completely if you want to gain access to the rear of the drawer. Mine has a chip blemish on the top of it, which is a bummer but is otherwise fine. It looks good and is two separate pieces which can be handy if you don’t have a really large wall.. Jason. I’m pleased with the overall appearance. The cabinet looks as described. Assembly was simple. I am 72 yr old female with arthritis and it took me about 3 hrs to complete. Full disclosure, I used an it is pressed wood so don’t overload it but it works great for my purposes. electric screwdriver or I’d still be working on it with the small screwdriver that was sent with the hardware. I like the fluted drawer design mixed with the simplicity of sleek drawer pulls. It has a good quality black painted matte finish. The drawer hardware comes oiled and is good quality. The dresser is really pretty! The drawers are smaller than I expected, but it’s still going to function ok. Putting it together took me about 4-5 hours with a few small breaks. Excellent dresser! The colors were a bit darker than the reference image (I got oak). Still gorgeous! The dresser is mostly acacia with some rubberwood. Very heavy, very durable, very high quality. Usually, dressers have an MDF back, even super expensive ones, but not this one! Solid wood, through and through. The drawers aren't huge, but they're totally usable. I also liked the full color instruction booklet! The bolts and screws come vacuum sealed on these small, flat cardboard panels, all clearly labeled, and provide far more hardware than necessary! For those who struggle with assembly: just pay close attention to the booklet. It's very clear and well-labeled. The pieces themselves are labeled too. The package arrives in a big, rectangular cardboard box that weighs about 130 lbs. Since the pieces are packed so well, there wasn't a single scratch on the entire thing! A lot of thought clearly went into it. I noticed some other reviewers complaining about the camlock hole placement and the drawer alignment. It's a skill issue. First of all, the head of the camlock pins need to be positioned correctly in the camlock holes. If the pins are too deep or too shallow in the hole, the camlock won't catch. You can easily use a screwdriver to adjust the depth of the pins, and readjust as necessary as you assemble it. Just make sure you tighten them past the friction until they stop, and no further, otherwise you'll bend the camlock or even break the wood. Certainly no power tools. Second of all, on each of the drawer rails there's a little star-shaped metal piece that you can twist to align the drawers so they don't scrape against each other or the frame.. Marco.
