The seat cushion and backing are soft velvet feel and legs sparkle especially in the sunlight. First chair was a lot easier to assemble but the second one wasn’t lining up well so there was a big gap in the back base so not sure how sturdy it will be. Eventually over time and lots of strength and force, I was able to close the gap but it’s definitely not as aligned as the other chair. Great chair, great value. Absurdly easy to build, its just 2 pieces. Screw the base onto the back of the chair with 4 screws and you're done! Everything arrived in great condition, although they mummified the chairs with wrapping fabric. Getting that off was honestly the longest part but hey its better than it being damaged. If its a little wobbly, all the feet have leveling feet so it takes about 3 seconds to adjust and fix it. It looks great, but its a very light chair. Holds me just fine, but if you're heavier and 250+ pounds I might be a little concerned with stability. Note that its also a very low chair so taller people might feel like a child in it. The table is very well made. Very sturdy and has a tempered glass top. The extensions at each end of the table are easy to open and close.
