The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. I'm so happy with this bookcase set! I ordered this to organize craft supplies for sewing and scrapbooking supplies and it's just perfect for what I need. I assembled this entirely by myself using my power screwdriver and a hex wrench. The instruction illustrations were pretty easy to follow. The only challenge I had was being sure the shelves in the tall cabinets were facing upright and not upside down since the pilot holes for the screws should be underneath. Aside from that, the knobs are a bit crooked on the tall cabinets, but that doesn't really bother me! My husband built the long shelf over the center area, then I hung some wall shelves under it that I already owned. It really made it look like one large piece of furniture and tied everything together nicely. We also added a bit of molding along the top shelf.
