Dining Captains Chairs

This armchair delivers traditional character and functional seating to your space. Crafted from a solid rubberwood frame, it features fixed arms, a solid backrest, and carved legs with built-in caster wheels for mobility. Smooth vinyl upholstery wraps the foam-filled cushioned seat, while subtle nailhead trim adds a tailored detail across the silhouette. The wood finish showcases natural graining for added depth, making it easy to incorporate into your layout. Plus, the rotating casters offer effortless movement whether you're working at a desk or gathering around a table.

Beautiful solid chair. The seat height however is not truly 18" for a normal dining table. The crown of the upholstery is 18" but the actual seat height is about 16". As you can see in the picture compared to another Wayfair purchased 18" dining chair. The taller chairs seat bottom sits at 18 in with the cushion above. The shorter chair seat bottom is at about 15 and a half inches with the cushion rising above. We ordered two just for extra seats at our modern table which already has eight chairs. Thought they would look cool at the ends when extended for seating 10. They are just too short to sit comfortably when dining, but will be kept and relegated as guest room seating.. Rudolph.
