I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading. Nice lamps but I don’t care for the lampshades thy come with. The original shades are Fairly easy to assemble. The fabric has some weight and it attaches with velco at the back. Very cute ceramic lamps! After putting these together there is a slight difference in height. Not a huge deal breaker, but I’ll use on nightstands or separate areas so you won’t notice difference.
