This works very well for the price, and the pop of cobalt blue was exactly what we were looking for. Several sets of houseguests have complimented it. When we have couples stay, we pop up the trundle and then turn the two twin mattresses lengthwise to make a king-sized bed that doesn't separate or move around. Is a cute bed. Its easy to put together, and I like that the trundle raises to become a queen sized bed. The downside is that the hardware doesnt match the white bed, so ends dont look great. This bed needs to be tucked into a space when both ends are facing a wall, or both ends are covered in stone way. The finials (the globe pieces on the head and foot rests) are also problematic. Once you put them on, do not try to take them off again, or they will just wobble there. There is absolutely no way to tighten them or remove them once they are installed. Very happy with it. Needed a trundle bed that would fit 9.5 inch mattresses. Bottom does just fine with 9.5 inch. Would probably do okay with 10 inch too. Only used the top so far but it’s comfy. If you have any creaking make sure to tighten everything up and it should be fine. They say not to tighten until end so then you need to go back and tighten to make sure there is no creaking or wiggling. Pretty easy to put together even as one person just a bit of time.
